hi , on the boat home now after a great trip , thinking back over the holiday the good times and the great times , this trip all started with Rob Murphy saying to me at the dargle would you be up for going to norway in three weeks ? yep i sure am , the crew is Paul Brown , Paul Byrne , Nic Doran , Pad Maguire .
I just got a camper van and had not done a long trip in it Rob asked would i drive ? no prob test out the new camper . The trip is on , drive up to Belfast ferry from there to scotland , drive to newcastle ferry to Bergan drive to Voss , well all went well till we got to newcastle one of the lads forgot his passport . They would not let us on the ferry to norway with out a passport, what are we going to do now ? well we said we would get his passport posted over to him and in the time we are waiting we will head up to scotland and warm up for norway well this turned out to be a great idea , we paddled some of the best rivers in scotland hook up with and old friend Colin Irvine , we paddle with him and mountain biked , he put us up in his place in the middle of Edinburgh and we all headed to a comedy show great night , big thanks for a great time Colin .
All past port in hand now off to norway first stop is Voss and pick up Paul Brown and Nic Doran , head stright for a river i do not remember its name , then on to a drop for some hook and took ,nose breaker , after that on to the train stop run some great rapids and some nice drops , next day we headed to a play spot .
Then a long drive {8 hours} to Sjoa we paddle some great rivers and hook up with some raft guides for some hard parties and a film night , we had a leaving party in moe place and some great chilly . so thats norway done for another year
