no where like Norway

hi , on the boat home now after a great trip , thinking back over the holiday the good times and the great times , this trip all started with Rob Murphy saying to me at the dargle would you be up for going to norway in three weeks ? yep i sure am , the crew is Paul Brown , Paul Byrne , Nic Doran , Pad Maguire .
I just got a camper van and had not done a long trip in it Rob asked would i drive ? no prob test out the new camper . The trip is on , drive up to Belfast ferry from there to scotland , drive to newcastle ferry to Bergan drive to Voss , well all went well till we got to newcastle one of the lads forgot his passport . They would not let us on the ferry to norway with out a passport, what are we going to do now ? well we said we would get his passport posted over to him and in the time we are waiting we will head up to scotland and warm up for norway well this turned out to be a great idea , we paddled some of the best rivers in scotland hook up with and old friend Colin Irvine , we paddle with him and mountain biked , he put us up in his place in the middle of Edinburgh and we all headed to a comedy show great night , big thanks for a great time Colin .
All past port in hand now off to norway first stop is Voss and pick up Paul Brown and Nic Doran , head stright for a river i do not remember its name , then on to a drop for some hook and took ,nose breaker , after that on to the train stop run some great rapids and some nice drops , next day we headed to a play spot .
Then a long drive {8 hours} to Sjoa we paddle some great rivers and hook up with some raft guides for some hard parties and a film night , we had a leaving party in moe place and some great chilly . so thats norway done for another year

Rest day today , ran another great river yesterday , one of the crew is gone home Paul Brown . So the trip is coming to an end , it has been a good trip so far

hi so in the middle of my trip now ran a couple of great rivers . One of the rivers i ran there was a drop on it with a couple holes and a drop at the end , i was one of the last guys to run it the guy before me got a spanking in a hole , my turn down i went ran it clean all good , at the bottom i said if i do not run anything bigger i will be happy . The next drop was a mandatory portage we looked at it , i saw a line this was a trickest drop i have ever ran , 15 foot drop with a big rock at the bottom so you had to boof to the right and avoid the rock , so my turn ran it clean great trip and that made it so far ,

norway

hi in norway now got the crew together now , we are in voss at mo yesterday we started of on a grade 3 -4 run in the morning they some of the lads run nose breaker , that is a 35 foot drop with a tricky run in and a hole at the bottom , i did not run it maybe on the way home . one of the lads that ran it said it saw like running the bowles of hell and been hit by a truck at the bottom some thing to look forward to . they we ran a grade 5 ,6 run all good fun finished at 11.00 pm . we are moving to a different araea now for some more big dropps big water and big fun

hi so we are on the way to norway stopped off in scotland to catch some of the classics , the etive on the first day and the falls of falloch all went well . the van is going good so all happy campers we hope to hit norway on tuesday then meet up with the rest of the crew .
